electromechanical system using textile circuiting with soft inflatables,
thermoforming plexi sheets & custom metal machining.

I am fabricating soft electronic materials for circuiting, designing the mold for the silicone actuators and machining the metal parts to encase and support the system.

This piece was inspired by my contributions to the knitted sensors and textiles research work at Wesleyan University’s Soft Robotics Lab led by Professor Roberts.
